This very colorful nudibranch displays bright yellow cerata on its back that fade to a purplish on the tips (those are the poisonous cnidosacks).
The highly patterned underside or foot is where it gets the name Persian as it truly resembles a rug made in Iran. Look, there in the center of the pattern is the creature’s rasping mouthpart, or radula.
